Love the harmonica for sure!!
Kinda chaingang good old blues / folk song, the hook is fine. Vocals are ok too
good train effect sounds , interesting arrangement.catchy song, i enjoyed it
Good old roots rock n blues. I like the simplicity of the song and the recording. Truely blues influenced rock nice and raw. Very cool
I like the idea of the tune just fine! Vocals are fun sounding
Love the harmonica in this rocker. Good story and is a well balanced production. Enjoyed it!
Spectacular music! If you are working out of a home studio, even better. The instrumentation is as good as any out there and very creative also.
I like the rusty-bucket quality of this track! The voice is lively and rugged, the harmonica is rough (in a good way) and well-played. The percussion sounds primitive and suits the song well.
Great build up for the band to come in.. Arrangement is an exact fit to the song. Loved how the train threatened to derail but never did. Great lyrics, often a weak link in songs.
This song is Country rather than Rock - Alternative. Because I didn't understand the lyrics good enough, I have to judge only the music, I'm sorry. The harmonica gives the feeling of a train. That seems to be the point. I liked it.
It's got the makings of a really good song......
I like the feel and beat of the song. The vocals are perfect for the song. It's a cool little shuffle with some nice harmonica. I really like this song but the recording needs work.
Tom Waits, Beck and Captain Beefheart, are what spring to mind.Your clearly going for the shambolic approach, or if not then your drummer needs to sober up!
I really like it, however this rhythm on the edge feel, sometimes seems to get a bit too close to the edge, and maybe you could reign it in a touch.
Cool piece. Love the huskiness of the voice and the wittiness of the lyrics.
This tune has a fun, authentic sound with acoustic instruments and smooth vocals! Perfect for a film or tv spot. Great work!
I love the earthy down bluesy rock sound. Arrangement is good so are the lyrics.
What I really dig about this song was the nonchalant approach to the whole song the artist took. From the way the instruments were played, the way the vocals were delivered and how the whole song was recorded. There is a I don't give an f about anything today and it made the songs vibe stick out very well. Not an easy thing to do either. Good job!!!
Reminds me of CCR!
This is good ole tymie work song! Awsome! The harmonica is great and I like the overall feel of the song.
My take is, the song is about a train and the instruments are portraying the train but there is a message of getting your life on track, love on track, getting life to paradise. So the lyrics to me are quite good.
Funky country blues for a backyard party.
Wowza, what an infectious sound this tune has, very cool! It's super Raw, but that's what makes the song so COOL!! The voice isn't perfect, but that's what invites the listener in!! Love the sound of the drums in the arrangement, I think I know who this group is, but not positive?? Anyway super Funky sound, you can take this tune to the Bank!!
I like the harmonica, sounds like a down home (in a good way) good ole' boy song, a group just jamming on the porch, having a good time; enjoy each other and music time, the outdoors, etc. Good separation and differentiation on song sections.
love the train on the tracks hook
The lead vocals suit the song very well and i hear alot of potential here! I love-love-love the mouth organ contribution!!!
Nice fun feel, lyrics for the verses are great in particular.
Nice raw, loose and live feel to it.
Nice harmonica, always invokes the feel of a train.
There's almost a bit of skiffle going on, single string bass? are we on the Rock Island line?
The lyrics was vibrant, fun, and easy to understand. The hook was very good and catchy. The instrumentation and arrangement of the song was very good. enthusiastic, energetic, and fun to listen too. The vocals were clear and in tune with the key signature. Puts me in the mind of "Steely Dan"
Song wise something could be made of this
Like the harp
This very original song put a big smile on my face. It's not often that you hear a fun motivational song in this genre. Starts out with a creative percussion/harmonica intro that captivated me instantly. Lyrics were a delight to listen to because they were so fresh, original and witty. There's a ton of great wisdom in this song and it's presented so perfectly...along with a repetitive, singable chorus. Favorite lyrics: Fail to plan; plan to fail. Defrost your Brain. Good luck Fairy. Mix really worked for me in my headphones.
It's not an unpleasant song. It's got a good vibe.
Despite some pretty obvious flaws in the co-ordination and ensemble at times, this has real atmosphere, and it gets into your ear and stays there. I think it would be brilliant to hear this live and I am sure you guys perform live a lot. The drums create the sound of the rail -road, and even when a bit clunky with the other instruments, they are evocative. The vocal has the gritty energy needed, and the harmonica wailing keeps the atmosphere throughout. It really is quite haunting.
I love it, and it has bags of personality which shines through.
I enjoyed listening to it though, cool hook.
Love the intro, which is really dreamy. There's a great swagger to the song. Lovely acoustic guitar and keyboard I like the slightly impromptu feel of the song as exemplified by the drums. Nice change for the 'Train on the Track' chorus. The whole song has a hypnotic quality.
This has a great vibe to it!! Very cool live feel, nice groove, and a really authentic vocal feel!!
It is a fresh and fun listen!!
